Santiago del Estero municipal officials host civic and professional events

Students from the Instituto Gobernador Fontana visited the Sarmiento municipal offices as part of a civic‑education project, touring the building, meeting Viceintendente Emanuel Eduardo Venter Jenks and learning about local government functions. The delegation of 25 pupils and their teachers were given a reception and breakfast after the tour.

In Santiago del Estero city, Mayor Norma Fuentes and municipal coordinator Mario Benavente attended the annual Día del Arquitecto ceremony at the Colegio de Arquitectos. They presented a commemorative plaque to the institution and recognized architects with 25 years of service, as well as families of deceased professionals, highlighting the municipality’s ongoing support for urban planning and professional development.
