Santiago del Estero officials host students for provincial heritage program

Chief of Cabinet Víctor Araujo, representing Governor Elías Suárez, received students from Loreto and Fernández at the Government House in Santiago del Estero. The students belong to the “Pedro Francisco de Uriarte” Secondary School and the “Maximio S. Victoria” Pilot School N° 1.

The visit is part of the “Conociendo mi provincia” (Knowing my province) program, which is designed for high school seniors from interior regions. The initiative aims to help youth revalue the historical and cultural heritage of Santiago del Estero through educational and recreational experiences.

As part of the program, students toured the capital, Las Termas de Río Hondo, and Villa La Punta. Araujo noted that maintaining the program is a strategic political decision to complement classroom learning with real-world experiences and to bridge distances for students in remote areas.
