Santiago receives expansion of Building Supply Registry

The National Statistics Office (ONE) has launched the Building Supply Registry (ROE) in Santiago, Dominican Republic. This expansion marks the first time the statistical operation covers this province, which is a major economic and urban development hub for the country.

The survey will collect data across 218 urban neighborhoods to assess the current state of construction activity and building supply. The data collection period is scheduled from October 26 to November 23, 2026, following a preparatory phase that included pilot testing.

This initiative is supported by the Ministry of Economy and Finance and coordinated with the Dominican Association of Builders and Housing Promoters (Acoprovi). ONE Director General Mildred Martínez stated that the goal is to generate reliable statistical data to support informed planning and decision-making, emphasizing that the work is not for inspection or evaluation purposes.
