Santiago Gimenez's agent defends Milan tenure, praises Porto move

Rafaela Pimenta, the agent for Mexican striker Santiago Gimenez, has defended her client’s performance during his time at AC Milan and praised his recent move to FC Porto.

In an interview with TNT Sports Mexico, Pimenta explained that Gimenez’s difficulties in Italy were largely due to a lack of institutional stability at Milan. She noted that the club underwent multiple changes in coaching and management, making it “impossible” for a foreign player to find continuity. Pimenta added that arriving mid-season in January presented additional challenges regarding language, culture, and adapting to a new style of football, alongside the impact of injuries.

Pimenta described the transfer to FC Porto as an “ideal connection” for the player at this stage of his career, stating that the Portuguese club provides the right environment for him to perform. Gimenez has already begun his tenure at Porto, scoring in recent training sessions and appearing in competitive matches.
