Santiago Martín Pavilion advances climatization works

The Cabildo de Tenerife is advancing with climatization works at the Santiago Martín Sports Pavilion. Yolanda Moliné, the Sports Counselor, recently visited the site as workers began dismantling the false ceiling at both ends of the upper stands.

This complex intervention is a necessary step for the installation of a new climate control system. To minimize disruption to daily sports activities and matches for La Laguna Tenerife, the work is being scheduled in phases, with further sessions planned for November.

The climatization project represents an investment exceeding 1.5 million euros. When combined with previous improvements to the first team's locker rooms, the gym, and the VIP area, the total investment in the facility's thermal conditions surpasses 1.7 million euros. The system is expected to be fully operational by the end of the first quarter of 2027.
