Santiago implements traffic and transit changes for Iron Maiden concerts

Authorities in Santiago have announced several logistical measures for October 31 and November 1, 2026, to accommodate Iron Maiden concerts at the Estadio Nacional and various community events.

In Ñuñoa, traffic restrictions will be implemented near the stadium on Pedro de Valdivia Avenue and Marathon Avenue from 07:00 to 00:00. Metro de Santiago will extend its service hours to assist concertgoers, with operations running until 00:30 on Saturday and 00:00 on Sunday. Specific stations on Lines 3, 5, and 6 have been designated for entry and exit to manage the expected crowds.

Other regional disruptions include road closures in the Santiago and Pedro Aguirre Cerda communes. The Mercado de Colores de Yungay event will restrict traffic on Herrera, Rafael Sotomayor, Catedral, and Portales streets from 07:00 to 23:00 on Saturday. Additionally, the 69th anniversary of Población La Victoria will cause closures on Clotario Blest Avenue between Ángel Guarello and La Marina from 07:00 Saturday until midnight.
