Santiago neighborhood residents launch audiovisual memory project

Residents of the Santiago neighborhood, in collaboration with the Asociación Unidos por Santiago (AUXS), are developing a project titled ‘Memoria audiovisual creativa del Barrio de Santiago’ to preserve their local identity and history.

The initiative involves the creation of five audiovisual scripts that explore different facets of the community. These narratives include themes of coexistence and mutual aid in traditional housing, the physical heritage of the neighborhood, a sensory exploration of light, the challenges of economic survival and housing, and the future transformation of the area through rehabilitation and youth integration.
