Santiago Nieto calls for Morena and PT unity in Querétaro

Santiago Nieto Castillo called for unity among the Morena and Partido del Trabajo (PT) political forces during a strategic assembly held in San Juan del Río, Querétaro. The meeting brought together founders, leaders, and representatives from the state's 18 municipalities to strengthen the alliance between the two parties.

During the event, Nieto Castillo recognized the historical efforts of Morena's founders and territorial coordinators, stating that current progress stands on the “hombros de gigantes” (shoulders of giants). Senator Beatriz Robles attended the assembly and expressed support for Nieto Castillo’s designation as the State Coordinator for the Defense of the Transformation and National Sovereignty.

The assembly focused on internal organization and the defense of the political project led by President Claudia Sheinbaum. While the alliance between Morena and PT was reaffirmed in preparation for upcoming political challenges, specific agreements or timelines were not detailed.
