Santiago protesters demand justice for woman who died during aesthetic surgery

Family members and supporters of Geraldine Hernández held a protest in front of the Santiago Prosecutor's Office to demand justice six months after her death during an aesthetic surgery procedure at the Diosa clinic.

Protesters used banners and chants to call for the Public Ministry to accelerate the investigation, claiming that excessive time has passed without the case being brought before the courts. Relatives, including the victim's mother María Rodríguez and cousin Bisneli Rodríguez, expressed frustration over a perceived lack of transparency and inadequate treatment when seeking updates from authorities.

While investigators have reportedly questioned at least five individuals related to the clinic, the family maintains that no formal accusation has been presented. They have vowed to continue demonstrations until the case moves forward legally and those responsible are held accountable.
