Santiago to host theatrical premiere of “Perdida Mente”

The theatrical production “Perdida Mente” is set to premiere in Santiago, Dominican Republic, on September 4 and 5 at the Gran Teatro del Cibao. The play features a notable ensemble including actresses Cecilia García, Karina Noble, and Olga Bucarelli, who together possess over five decades of professional experience. They are joined by performers Pachy Méndez and Laura Rivera.

The production distinguishes itself through the use of an original soundtrack composed by maestro Dante Cucurullo, a feature described as uncommon for dramatic and comedy productions in the Dominican Republic. The visual concept and scenography are led by Ángela Bernal, director of Tracke Stage.

Additionally, the production marks the 20th anniversary of the artistic collaboration between actress Cecilia García and director Carlos Espinal. The performances will take place at 8:00 PM in the Julio Alberto Hernández room.
