Santiago Tovar battles for NASCAR México Series Chase spot

Santiago Tovar is set to compete in the final regular-season race of the NASCAR México Series on August 23 at the Autódromo Miguel E. Abed in Amozoc, Puebla. Driving the #22 Quaker State car for ANVI Motorsport, Tovar is fighting to secure a spot in the championship Chase.

Under the current competition format, only the top ten drivers in the general classification at the end of this race will advance to the final playoff phase. Tovar enters the event following recent performances including a Top 5 in Aguascalientes and a sixth-place finish in San Luis Potosí. The Puebla circuit, characterized by long straights and wide curves, will require precise aerodynamic and suspension tuning to remain competitive.
