Santiago Urrutia defends TCR World Tour lead in South Korea

Uruguayan driver Santiago Urrutia enters the TCR World Tour competition in South Korea as the championship leader. Competing at the Inje Speedium, Urrutia holds 230 points, maintaining a ten-point lead over Spain’s Mikel Azcona.

Urrutia, driving for the Chinese team Geely Cyan Racing, will participate in one qualifying session and three races. Following a four-month hiatus from active competition, he prepared for the South Korean circuit through simulator work in Spain and Sweden.

The championship schedule includes upcoming stages in China and a final round in Macau.
