Santino Marella wins gold at Jiu-Jitsu Con

Former WWE champion and current TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella won a gold medal at Jiu-Jitsu Con in Las Vegas. Competing for Zenith BJJ, Marella placed first in the Master 5 purple belt super heavyweight division.

Following the tournament, Marella shared on social media that the victory came at a significant physical cost. He reported returning to Toronto with a misaligned jaw, back pain, and bleeding feet, noting that despite the injuries, the achievement was a ‘sweet feeling’.
