Santo André Tech Park Holds Student Tech Tour and Partners with Strong Business School
On 11 August, the Parque Tecnológico de Santo André organized a special Tech Tour for students aged 14 and up, offering hands‑on exposure to labs, artificial‑intelligence, robotics, Industry 4.0 and entrepreneurship initiatives within the Cite (Centro de Inovação, Tecnologia e Empreendedorismo). Registration was open via the park’s website and the event aimed to connect young people with the region’s innovation ecosystem.
Earlier, on 6 August, the municipality of Santo André signed a cooperation agreement with Strong Business School. The partnership will enable university students to carry out a new edition of the Estudo de Demanda Turística and manage the Pesquisa de Índice de Performance em Gestão, gathering data on visitor numbers, spending and preferences. The study follows a 2025 survey that recorded 1.13 million tourists generating roughly R$ 845.7 million for the local economy. Officials, including Secretary Evandro Banzato and professor Luciano Schmitz, said the collaboration will inform public policies and strengthen tourism‑related employment and growth.
