Santo Domingo Este investment urged by Codeeste president

Joaquín Hilario, president of the Economic and Business Council of Santo Domingo Este (Codeeste), has called on national entrepreneurs to invest in the municipality, citing its significant economic transformation and growth.

Hilario highlighted the municipality's evolution into a modern investment hub, characterized by residential and business towers, large supermarket chains, and new commercial plazas. He specifically noted the commercial dynamism of the San Isidro highway, comparing its development to the Winston Churchill Avenue in the National District.

As the most populous municipality in the country, Santo Domingo Este offers a diverse market with strategic infrastructure. Hilario pointed to upcoming projects, such as the inauguration of City Center and new hotel developments, as key drivers for the local commercial, tourism, and service sectors. He also expressed support for Mayor Dio Astacio’s managerial approach to municipal governance.
