Santo Domingo International Book Fair 2026 preparations underway

Dominican Culture Minister Roberto Ángel Salcedo inspected the preparations at the Plaza de la Cultura Juan Pablo Duarte for the XXVIII Santo Domingo International Book Fair (FILSD 2026). The event is scheduled to take place from September 24 to October 4.

Panama will serve as the guest of honor, presenting a delegation featuring literature, film, music, dance, theater, and gastronomy. The fair will also honor the work of Dominican writer José Mármol. The program includes over 700 activities, featuring more than 70 international writers, 32 international publishing houses, 21 national publishers, and 44 Dominican bookstores.
