Santo Domingo Norte celebrates 25 years as a municipality

The Mayor's Office of Santo Domingo Norte celebrated the 25th anniversary of the municipality's creation. The commemorative event focused on recognizing the area's history, developmental progress, and cultural richness.

During the celebration, Mayor Betty Gerónimo highlighted ongoing administrative initiatives, including the recovery of public spaces, park renovations, improved lighting in critical areas, and community works funded through participatory budgeting. She also noted market projects aimed at fostering economic dynamism and order within the municipality.

The anniversary featured a thanksgiving mass and a cultural showcase emphasizing the local identity of the Villa Mella communities, including traditional music and local gastronomy.
