Santo Stefano Quisquina officials urged to address cemetery and park neglect

The Stefanese Fianco a Fianco Group has raised concerns regarding the deteriorating condition of public facilities in Santo Stefano Quisquina. The group reported significant neglect at the municipal cemetery, citing waste accumulation along walkways and uncontrolled weed growth.

Additionally, the group highlighted issues with the cemetery's lighting system, noting that obsolete equipment and exposed wiring frequently cause votive lamps to fail despite residents paying annual fees. The group also criticized the state of the local urban park, describing it as being in a state of total abandonment except during the summer months, and called for urgent intervention from the municipal administration.
