Violent incidents reported in Spain, Argentina, Venezuela, and Dominican Republic
Various violent incidents have been reported across several regions. In Hondarribia, Spain, 46-year-old Babacar Welle died after being shot by a municipal police officer. Authorities stated that while Welle, who had mental health issues, was receiving social services support, the intervention was ultimately unsuccessful.
In Argentina, multiple fatalities occurred. In Santa Fe, 22-year-old barber Franco Calabreses died after being shot while working. In Santo Tomé, 23-year-old Agustín Carulli was killed in a shooting involving a motorcycle and a vehicle, leaving a 14-year-old injured. Additionally, 30-year-old José Gabriel Romero died from a gunshot wound to the back in Córdoba following a series of shootings in the Juan Pablo II neighborhood.
In the Dominican Republic, 34-year-old Octavio Augusto Gómez died after being stabbed at a social venue in Palmarito, Barahona. In Venezuela, 22-year-old Roger José Fajardo Díaz died following a confrontation with a National Bolivarian Police officer in Guanarito, Portuguesa, which resulted in the officer's arrest.
