Santo Tomás conducts student outreach and volunteer programs in Chile

The Santo Tomás educational institution has conducted various community and academic outreach activities across Chile. In the Iquique and Alto Hospicio regions, more than 700 high school students participated in the “Tomasin@ x 1 Día” initiative. This program allowed students to experience technical and professional career paths firsthand, visiting laboratories and clinical simulation centers to gain vocational orientation.

In the Arica region, over 100 students, academics, and collaborators participated in winter volunteer work in the locality of Poconchile. The volunteers focused on community improvements, including painting a kindergarten facade, renovating a local plaza, and organizing recreational activities for children. The initiative also included a solidarity clothing drive to distribute donated garments to the local community.
