Santomera renames municipal swimming pool after swimmer Diego Mira

The municipal swimming pool in Santomera has been officially renamed in honor of swimmer Diego Mira Albadalejo. The local government held an institutional ceremony to recognize the athlete's career and his role in promoting the municipality on both national and international stages.

Mayor Víctor Martínez stated that the tribute reflects the council's commitment to valuing local talent. Mira, born in 2001, began his training at the very facility that now bears his name and has since become one of Spain's leading swimmers of his generation.
