Fatal road accidents reported in Sant’Omero and Marano Equo

Several fatal road accidents have been reported in Italy. In Sant’Omero, a 27-year-old woman, Elenia Osimi, died after her Volkswagen Golf struck a tree on the SP8 Bonifica del Salinello. Her 47-year-old partner, Guido Petrucci, was seriously injured and transported to the Mazzini Hospital in Teramo.

In Marano Equo, a 76-year-old pharmacist, Daniela Casoli, was killed after being struck by an Audi A3. The driver, 37-year-old Omar E. S., was arrested and charged with aggravated road homicide. Investigations revealed the driver was under the influence of both alcohol and cocaine and was operating the vehicle with a suspended license.

Additionally, a separate accident on the SP8 in Sant’Omero resulted in the death of a woman and left a man seriously injured after a vehicle veered off the road and hit a tree.
