Santorini hosts CapsuleT hospitality and tourism innovation event

The CapsuleT Travel & Hospitality Accelerator, organized by the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels in collaboration with the Santorini Hoteliers Association, recently held a two-day event in Santorini titled ‘New Technologies in Hospitality and Tourism’. The event brought together tourism professionals and innovative startups to showcase technological advancements in the sector.

Nine startups from the current acceleration cycle presented various solutions, including:

• ArtStay: A subscription model connecting boutique hotels with Greek artists, allowing guests to purchase art via QR codes. • ClinicaGo: A medical tourism platform connecting international patients with private clinics in Greece. • Culizen: A cost management tool for professional kitchens. • depnos: An AI-powered digital menu platform designed to increase revenue through smart upselling. • OverGrid AI: A system for intelligent and environmentally responsible energy management in hotels. • Pricinger: A tool using real-time market data to optimize pricing for short-term rentals. • stayi: An AI concierge service accessible via mobile devices.

The event featured greetings from local officials, including Antonis Pagonis, President of the Santorini Hoteliers Association, Nikos Zorzos, Mayor of Thira, and Julia Karamolekgou, Prefect of Thira.
