Santos Escobar addresses “heartbreaking” WWE release

Professional wrestler Santos Escobar has spoken publicly about his release from WWE, describing the experience as “heartbreaking.” In an interview with TMZ’s Inside The Ring, Escobar revealed that the departure occurred approximately six or seven days after he underwent a second surgery, making the timing particularly difficult as he was dealing with an injury.

Following his exit after WrestleMania 42, Escobar has used his time away to focus on physical recovery and new creative ventures. He noted that the period of reassessment forced him to evaluate his life and career. During this time, he recently completed a television project in Mexico for a major streaming service, providing him with a different outlet for creative expression outside of the wrestling ring.
