Santos FC manages squad changes through key player transfers
Santos FC is actively managing its squad and finances through several key transfer negotiations. The club is advancing an agreement to loan attacker Robinho Jr. to Spain's Rayo Vallecano. The deal includes a one-year loan with a purchase option valued at approximately €10 million (R$ 60 million). While Sevilla also maintains interest, Rayo Vallecano has accelerated discussions.
In another significant move, Santos has finalized the sale of Argentine defender Adonis Frías to Atlas in Mexico. The transaction is valued at a fixed fee of approximately US$ 3.75 million, with potential variables reaching US$ 4.5 million. This sale helps the club recover part of its initial investment in the player.
Additionally, Santos has opened talks to sign midfielder Lima from Fluminense, who was previously on loan at América do México. However, the club faces a transfer ban due to a R$ 12 million debt to Monaco, which must be resolved before new players can be officially registered.
