Santos hosts vocational fair and social services for homeless population

The city of Santos is hosting various community initiatives. The XI Vocational Fair recently gathered nearly 600 9th-grade students from the municipal school system at the Parquinho Tecnológico. The event featured workshops, lectures, and discussions regarding career paths, technical schools, entrepreneurship, and professional development to assist students in planning their transition to high school.

Additionally, Santos is observing the National Day of Struggle for the Homeless with a series of social services and activities organized by the Secretariat of Social Development (Seds). Programs include personal care services such as hair cutting and manicures, legal guidance from the Public Defender's Office, and recreational activities like kite-making workshops and outdoor cinema sessions. These efforts aim to promote dignity, rights, and social reintegration for the local homeless population.
