Santos inaugurates Vila Criativa community center in Estuário

The City of Santos has inaugurated a new Vila Criativa in the Estuário neighborhood, located at Rubens Ferreira Martins Square. The 2,500 m² facility is designed to benefit approximately 6,000 local residents by providing educational, cultural, and sporting opportunities.

The two-story accessible building features multi-use rooms for workshops and courses, as well as facilities for various activities including basketball, football, yoga, ballet, zumba, ballroom dancing, and martial arts. The project also included the renovation of a multi-sport court and the urban revitalization of the surrounding square.

The total investment for the project was R$ 2.59 million, with R$ 1.1 million provided by the State Government and the remainder funded by the municipality. Registration for the available 300 to 600 spots opened on Monday, August 21.
