Santos launches health campaign to combat Aedes aegypti

The Santos Health Secretariat is conducting a series of prevention and orientation actions against arboviruses from Wednesday to Friday. The initiative includes educational activities in polyclinics, professional training for health teams, and entomological research in the Área Continental region.

Health agents will visit the Quilombo area to identify predominant mosquito species, as Aedes aegypti larvae have not yet been detected there. Additionally, a specialized task force will focus on the Boqueirão area next week to combat mosquito proliferation following the holiday period.
