Santos negotiates signing of Arthur Melo

Santos is negotiating the signing of midfielder Arthur Melo following his amicable contract termination with Juventus. The 30-year-old, who previously played for Grêmio, is reportedly considering a return to Brazilian football.

Reports indicate that Neymar is assisting in the negotiations due to his close friendship with the player. However, the deal faces significant hurdles as Santos is currently under a FIFA transfer ban. To resolve this, the club must settle a debt of approximately R$ 12 million owed to Monaco regarding the transfer of Jean Lucas.
