Santos players agree to locker room pact with supporters amid relegation crisis

Following a 2-0 defeat to Athletico-PR that dropped Santos into the relegation zone of the Campeonato Brasileiro, the club's squad has entered into a “locker room pact” with the Torcida Jovem supporters group.

To address poor performance and internal instability, the players and coaching staff agreed to restrict access to the club's training center, travel delegations, and locker rooms. Only athletes, technical staff, and board members will be permitted entry to prevent information leaks and eliminate unauthorized influences within the professional environment.

While the players acknowledged their role in the team's recent struggles, they also cited structural issues and information leaks as contributing factors to the crisis. The supporters group also met with President Marcelo Teixeira to demand accountability regarding the club's current standing.
