Santos São Vicente Open: Marcos Negrini and Carla Ziliotto claim titles

The 74th WTC Capital – BTG Pactual Santos São Vicente Open concluded on August 16 at the Santos São Vicente Golf Club. The tournament, which featured 88 golfers from 18 clubs, faced weather challenges including heavy rain and lightning on Saturday, forcing organizers to reduce the first round to nine holes. The competition was ultimately completed over 27 holes.

In the men's division, Marcos Negrini secured his second title at the event, finishing three under par with a total of 102 strokes. He finished three strokes ahead of runner-up Fernando Silva. In the women's division, Carla Ziliotto of the Federação Paulista de Golfe (FPGolfe) claimed her first title at this tournament and her eighth victory of the season.

The event served as a critical qualifier for the FPGolfe rankings, with points contributing to the selection of representatives for the XVIII Latin American Golf Championship in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
