Approximately 2,000 people gathered in Santurtzi to protest against police impunity following the death of Ander S. T. The demonstration, organized by the platform ‘Justizia Anderrentzat’, sought to demand accountability for what protesters describe as a violent police intervention.

Video footage has emerged showing the young man being neutralized and subjected to multiple Taser shocks by police. He reportedly died two days later due to the violence and physical blows received during the encounter. Protesters marched through the town center to the location where municipal officers held him on the ground for approximately two hours, eventually ending the march at the port.

Organizers and demonstrators are calling for the recognition of Ander S. T. as a victim of police violence and are demanding that political, judicial, and media responsibilities be addressed. The movement has drawn comparisons to the 2012 death of Iñigo Cabacas, citing a perceived pattern of impunity regarding police actions in the region.
