Sanut hosts agricultural educational event in Santo Domingo

The fifth edition of the “A la granja, sin salir de la ciudad” (To the farm, without leaving the city) event took place in Santo Domingo, offering families an educational and recreational experience centered on agricultural life.

Organized by Sanut at the Agrotienda Sanut on the Duarte Highway, the event allowed children, youth, and adults to interact directly with farm animals, including horses, chickens, and rabbits. The initiative aimed to teach participants about food production processes and foster appreciation for the agricultural sector's role in the country's economic development.

Activities included interactive tours, horseback riding, and recreational areas for dancing and jumping. The event also featured spaces to consume and purchase typical farm products. The program included entertainment led by presenter Enrique Qualley to engage younger attendees.
