Sanwa Supply releases fire-prevention power strips with built-in extinguishing sheets

Sanwa Supply has released a new line of fire-prevention power strips featuring built-in extinguishing sheets. These products, including the direct-plug TAP-AC3WN2-FPS and the cable-based TAP-TSH3 series, are designed to suppress initial fires by reacting to temperature rises within the unit.

The direct-plug model is priced at 968 yen, while the TAP-TSH3 series starts at 1,980 yen and offers various cable lengths from 1m to 5m. To prevent tracking fires, the plugs are equipped with insulation caps, and the cable series includes shutters to block dust and foreign objects.

The products comply with Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Act (PSE) standards and have been certified as recommended disaster prevention products by the Disaster Prevention Safety Association. The estimated service life for these units is five years.
