Sanxenxo pop-up stores showcase Galician fashion and craft

In Sanxenxo, a growing trend of pop-up stores is highlighting high-quality Galician fashion and traditional craftsmanship. These temporary retail spaces offer visitors an alternative to mass-produced souvenirs, focusing instead on exclusive local design.

A notable collaboration between the fashion brand D-Due and Artesanía de Galicia features products from over thirty regional workshops. The selection includes jewelry, cutlery, linens, and handmade lace from Camariñas, alongside ceramics from Niñodaguia, Gundivós, and Buño.

D-Due, a brand founded in Rianxo over thirty years ago, utilizes these itinerant stores to reach local customers, as its only permanent physical location is in Japan. The brand emphasizes the use of high-quality, locally sourced materials such as linen and cotton.
