Sanya EDITION to host cultural celebrations for Mid-Autumn and National Day

Sanya EDITION, a luxury brand under Marriott International, has announced a series of cultural and festive celebrations at Haitang Bay, Hainan, to coincide with the 2026 Mid-Autumn Festival and China National Day Golden Week. Running from September 25 to October 4, the event aims to integrate local Li ethnic culture with modern luxury resort experiences.

The festivities include traditional Li folk music, light and shadow dance performances, and the ‘Iron Flower’ folk art display. Special evening programs will also feature wish lanterns and drone light shows. To complement the cultural events, the hotel is offering themed dining experiences, including Hainan-style buffets featuring local ingredients like black goat and local beef, as well as guest appearances by international mixologists.
