Sanya Richards-Ross credits reality TV with revitalizing her career

Olympic gold medalist Sanya Richards-Ross has credited her time on ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ with revitalizing her professional brand. Speaking on ‘The Morning Hustle’, the 400-meter track legend noted that the platform helped her remain relevant after her competitive athletic career ended, stating, “My phone started ringing again.”

Richards-Ross explained that she intentionally chose to leave the franchise after two seasons to ensure the reality TV label did not overshadow her athletic legacy. While she expressed gratitude for the opportunities the show provided, she indicated she likely would not return to the series, though she noted, “I never say never in life.”

She is currently hosting ‘Beyond the Curve’ on the Scripps Sports Network.
