Actress Saoirse Ronan has addressed ongoing speculation regarding her husband, Jack Lowden, being a frontrunner for the role of James Bond. In an interview with the Associated Press, Ronan stated that the rumors are not a primary topic of discussion in their household, noting that they are focused on daily responsibilities such as parenting and household chores.

The casting rumors gained momentum following comments from Gary Oldman, Lowden’s co-star in the Apple TV+ series ‘Slow Horses’, who suggested that Lowden had been picked for the iconic role.

Lowden is currently filming the sixth season of ‘Slow Horses’. While several actors have been linked to the upcoming 007 project from Amazon MGM Studios, including Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Henry Cavill, no official casting has been confirmed. The next Bond film is expected to be directed by Denis Villeneuve with a script by Steven Knight.
