Saothair Capital Partners acquires FIFCO USA

Saothair Capital Partners, a private equity firm, has completed the acquisition of CCR American Holdings, Inc., also known as FIFCO USA, from Distribuidora La Florida, S.A., a subsidiary of Heineken N.V. Following the transaction, the company will revert to its former name, North American Breweries (NAB).

Headquartered in Rochester, New York, North American Breweries operates the Genesee Brewery and manages a brand portfolio that includes Labatt, Genesee, Seagram’s Escapes, Lipton Hard Iced Tea, and Bubly Wine Refresher. The company also provides full-service contract brewing services.

Peter Bodenham has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer. Bodenham previously held senior marketing roles at NAB and has extensive experience in the beverage industry. Rich Lozyniak, a co-founder and operating partner at Saothair, expressed enthusiasm for the company’s next chapter, noting that the Genesee Brewery is expected to continue operations as normal.
