SAP accelerates cloud and AI adoption across Latin America, highlighting Colombia's Grupo Momentum
SAP reported a surge in cloud and artificial‑intelligence adoption among Latin American enterprises in the second quarter of 2026. The company highlighted the integration of SAP Cloud ERP, SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP Business Technology Platform and the AI copilot Joule as key drivers toward the "autonomous enterprise" model, which promises higher automation and data‑driven decision‑making.
Adriana Aroulho, SAP president for Latin America and the Caribbean, said organizations are moving from basic automation to intelligent management. Notable implementations include Colombia’s health‑sector network Grupo Momentum, which deployed SAP Cloud ERP Private and SAP SuccessFactors to centralise processes for over 50 companies. In Brazil, Natura and SABESP adopted the same ERP solution, while airline GOL added Business Data Cloud and AI tools. Mexican firms such as Grupo Pando, NADRO and the Tecnológico de Monterrey also rolled out SAP solutions, expanding the use of the Joule AI assistant to thousands of users.
SAP’s strategy emphasizes combining planning, data, and AI platforms to create autonomous enterprises that can operate more efficiently and respond faster to market changes.
