SAP advances autonomous enterprise vision with AI agents

SAP is advancing its vision of the ‘autonomous enterprise’ by deploying specialized AI agents designed to automate business processes. The company is making over 200 AI agents and 50 assistants available through its Business Suite to help organizations manage finance, human resources, suppliers, and supply chains.

In Spain, SAP has launched the ‘SAP Agent Ready’ initiative in collaboration with partners such as Inetum, SEIDOR, and Indro. This program focuses on applying agentic AI to concrete business use cases, such as retail promotion optimization. Spain serves as the pilot market for this initiative before it expands across the EMEA region. To support this ecosystem, SAP has announced a 100 million euro investment to assist partners in developing and deploying AI assistants and agents.

In Latin America, SAP has emphasized that the adoption of AI is now a strategic necessity rather than a purely technological choice. The company’s approach relies on the SAP Business AI Platform, which integrates the Joule conversational interface with business applications. The goal is to augment human capabilities by automating routine tasks, allowing employees to focus on higher-value decision-making within a framework of governance, ethics, and data security.
