Simultaneously, mainstream maintenance for SAP Solution Manager 7.2 will end on December 31, 2027. For eligible customers, SAP Cloud ALM is available without additional licensing costs. Organizations must carefully evaluate their ECC status, as the availability of extended maintenance is tied to SAP Business Suite 7, potentially forcing some into customer-specific maintenance after 2027.
