SAP predicts R$ 110 million AI investment in Brazil by 2026

At the SAP NOW AI Tour in São Paulo, SAP Brazil President Rui Botelho announced that Brazilian companies are projected to invest approximately US$ 20 million (R$ 110 million) in artificial intelligence by 2026. Botelho emphasized SAP's transition from a software provider to an AI-driven business company, noting that while software will evolve to be 'AI first,' Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems will remain the central brain of business operations by providing necessary data context.

During the event, MRS Logística presented six digital transformation projects. These initiatives include the application of AI in human resources to automate tasks, the digitalization of employee onboarding processes, and technological solutions for the railway sector. MRS also highlighted its recent successful migration of approximately 600 servers over a 12-month period, which was completed without interrupting railway operations.
