SAP reports record quarterly revenue exceeding €10 billion
SAP has achieved a significant milestone, reporting quarterly revenue of over €10 billion for the first time. Driven by a strong cloud transformation, the company's cloud business grew by 26% to approximately €6.7 billion, while the total revenue rose by 13% to roughly €10.3 billion.
The company's adjusted operating profit increased by 18% to over €3 billion. Additionally, the cloud backlog saw a 28% increase, reaching approximately €24.1 billion in contractually agreed cloud revenue expected within the next twelve months.
Management expressed confidence in the 2026 outlook, projecting cloud revenues at the upper end of the previously forecasted range of €25.8 billion to €26.2 billion. This growth comes amid SAP's ongoing strategy to integrate artificial intelligence and expand its platform through targeted acquisitions, such as the planned takeover of TechWolf.
