Turkish municipalities launch various infrastructure and restoration projects

Various municipalities across Turkey are implementing localized infrastructure and preservation projects. In Mudanya, authorities have begun a transformation of the historical Hal Square to revitalize its social and commercial life while protecting its traditional architecture.

In terms of urban maintenance, Selçuklu is conducting extensive road and asphalt renewal, while Osmangazi is managing approximately 600 tons of waste monthly from its market areas to ensure hygiene. Kayseri is focusing on improving access to rural festival sites through road repairs and maintenance.

Water and sanitation upgrades include MESKİ doubling the drinking water capacity at Zeyker Yaylası to 100 tons, and MARSU in Artuklu working to move open streams into closed sewage systems to protect public health and agricultural land. Additionally, Fatih is restoring 232 historical fountains, successfully returning water to 138 of them.

Other regional efforts include Ankara's restoration of approximately 100 buildings in Güdül, Kocaeli's renewal of the Karamürsel Beach Road, and Antalya's simultaneous sewage and asphalt works in Aksu.
