Sapienza University Counseling Center provides student psychological support
The Sapienza Counseling Center provides psychological services to the student population, offering a space for listening and reflection. Psychotherapist Matilde Conteduca explained that the service typically consists of four psychological sessions, followed by a follow-up meeting approximately three months later.
Students seek assistance for various reasons, including academic challenges such as exam anxiety and concentration issues, as well as personal and relational difficulties. While some students find resolution through the four-session structure, those with deeper or more structural issues may be referred to local specialized facilities for further support.
