SaPKo and Lempeä Lämpö announce multi-year partnership

SaPKo Lempeä Lämpö Areena Savonlinna ice hockey sponsorship

The Talvisalo ice hall in Savonlinna has been renamed Lempeä Lämpö Areena following a multi-year main partnership agreement between the ice hockey club SaPKo and the district heating company Lempeä Lämpö.

Lempeä Lämpö, part of the Suur-Savo Sähkö group, provides district heating to ten locations in the Lake Finland region. SaPKo Managing Director Ville Tunturila stated that the new partner provides continuity and the opportunity for long-term development. The partnership aims to strengthen local sports and community spirit in Savonlinna.

The new name will be displayed on the arena's facade with illuminated letters in the coming weeks. Lempeä Lämpö will serve as the match host for SaPKo's season opening game against Lempäälän Kisa on September 12.
