Sapoti Projetos Culturais brings Maker Workshops to Manguinhos students

Sapoti Projetos Culturais will host the fifth edition of the Maker Workshop at Colégio Estadual Professor Clóvis Monteiro in Manguinhos, Rio de Janeiro, on October 28 and 29. The initiative aims to activate the school's newly implemented Maker Room through four practical sessions.

Students will engage with digital fabrication tools, learning to transform digital designs into physical objects. A key activity includes using a 3D printer to create matrices for textile printing. The program follows the 'maker movement' philosophy of learning by doing, encouraging students to experiment with art, science, and technology to foster autonomy and critical thinking.
