Sapporo man arrested for smashing car windshield with metal object

A 39-year-old unemployed man was arrested in flagrante delicto in Sapporo's Chuo Ward for damaging a vehicle. According to police, the incident occurred around 7:20 PM on October 5 at a coin parking lot.

The suspect allegedly used a metal object weighing approximately 10 kilograms to smash the windshield of a car belonging to a 29-year-old employee from Toyako. A witness reported seeing a man making a disturbance while breaking glass, leading to the arrest. The suspect has admitted to the act, and authorities are investigating his motives.
