Sapporo rapper arrested for multiple assaults

A rapper has been arrested in Sapporo, Hokkaido, on suspicion of assaulting multiple men on separate occasions.

According to police, the suspect allegedly assaulted a 44-year-old restaurant employee on July 31 near Chuo-ku, causing injuries to his lips that required one week of recovery. A second incident occurred on August 7, where the suspect, allegedly acting in conspiracy with an accomplice, assaulted a 44-year-old office worker in a restaurant building, resulting in a head injury requiring one week of recovery. Both victims were strangers to the suspect. Police arrested the individual following investigations involving eyewitness accounts and security camera footage.
